Rings

This filter draws one or more elliptical rings around an image. The ring width and spacing are fully adjustable, and there's also a Symmetry control that makes the individual ring widths progressively thinner or thicker going from the outermost to the innermost ring.

Note that there are several ways that the area outside the outermost ring may be treated depending on the Outer Mask check box control and the image characteristics. If Outer Mask is not selected, the original image will always be preserved in the outer area.

If Outer Mask is selected and the image has a transparency layer, the outer area is changed to transparent. If the image doesn't have a transparency layer, the outer area is filled with the Fill Color, the same as the fill area between the color rings.
